Who I Am

I am a U.S. citizen who resides in beautiful Alexandria, Virginia with my wife. I have over 35 years in the travel industry, am multi-lingual, and have lived and worked in Europe, South America, and Asia. My background includes serving as the Country Manager for major airlines and delivering group travel operations expertise and support to a variety of customers, such as travel agents, universities, associations, faith-based organizations, international companies, and individuals and families.

I specialize in the Mediterranean and Aegean European countries of Italy, France, Greece, Spain, and Turkey.  These are countries where I know local cultures, languages, art, history, religion, food, wine, and more.

What I Do

Your time is valuable, and I can cut down on time spent searching several Web Site engines in putting together your trip. I provide insights and recommendations based on where you want to go and what you want to do. I can help you think through the logistics of travel by car or train, including some of the challenges (such as heavy traffic on narrow streets during festival times). I recommend accommodation based on your interests and budget–whether centrally located, in the countryside, or at the beach. I share key cultural activities, sites, holidays, and events for the dates and locations of your trip so you can be informed and prepared.

Your information will not be shared with any party. There is no specific supplier push, and no sales and marketing efforts. There are no commissions, no hidden fees, and no taxes.

How it Works

I charge $125.00 per hour of my time, to answer questions, offer insights, and make recommendations tailored for you. You maintain full control over your itinerary, including booking your transportation, hotels, meals, and tours directly to promote the most efficient and cost-effective experience.
